If you have been putting off your cataract surgery because of COVID restrictions, we have great news! The New Jersey Department of Health has revised the COVID-19 Pre-Surgery Testing Guidelines for surgery centers like SurgiCenter of Vineland.
The First New Guideline
You are exempt from pre-procedural COVID-19 Testing and self-quarantine if you provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. This means that if you are scheduled for eye surgery with us 2 weeks after your second dose in a 2 dose series, or 2 weeks after a single dose vaccine and you are also asymptomatic, we can avoid COVID Testing if you provide with a copy of your vaccination card.
The Second New Guideline
You may be exempted from additional pre-procedural COVID-19 Testing and self-quarantine if you have tested positive within the last 14-90 days and completed the appropriate isolation and are currently asymptomatic.
If you are planning to schedule an eye exam or cataract evaluation for you or a family member, please bring the vaccination card with you for your visit so we can make a copy when we schedule your procedure. Book an Eye Exam or Cataract Evaluation Online Today!
